What is a macro in DELMIA Ortems?

Implementing macros in the Planning application allows you to automate certain recurring tasks. The purpose of a macro is to memorize a series of actions carried out through the menus of the Planning application: when a macro is created, the list of menu options corresponding to the actions to be carried out is recorded in a script.

The sequence of tasks then memorized can then be replayed interactively, or automatically when the Planning application is opened. It is also possible to assign a macro to a desktop saved in DELMIA Ortems and to a keyboard shortcut.
