Paris, December 21st, 2016 – KEONYS, a leading European integrator and distributor of PLM and 3D solutions, announces its plan to join forces with its listed German counterpart – CENIT. The German leader in IT consultancy and software is planning to acquire 100% of KEONYS’ shares during the first quarter of 2017.
This acquisition would position the two consolidated entities as the number one worldwide partner of Dassault Systèmes. Together, they plan to become the leading European and international player in the deployment of PLM and 3D software.
Pooling complementary expertise
For more than 25 years, KEONYS and CENIT have developed the same expertise related to the implementation of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) projects. Their respective experience enables them to assist, advise and support their increasingly transnational clients.
Over the years and through its various collaborations, KEONYS has successfully established itself in the digital simulation and engineering sectors, while CENIT has become a reference in manufacturing and challenges related to the smart factory.
This joining of forces will enable the companies to pool their expertise in order to take on larger-scale European, and even international, projects together.
Privileged partners of Dassault Systèmes
The two companies have developed a privileged relationship with Dassault Systèmes, publisher of specialized 3D design software and provider of PLM solutions. Their joining of forces is set to give rise to the number one worldwide partner of Dassault Systèmes, a spearhead for the deployment and popularization of the French publisher’s 3DEXPERIENCE® platform.
