After a first phase of studies in parallel with Version 5, the school provides 2,000 users the full range of lifecycle management applications products 3DEXPERIENCE platform, Dassault Systèmes.

Keonys European integrator leading lifecycle management PLM solutions from Dassault Systèmes products, “the company 3DEXPERIENCE” announces that the Great School of French engineers, Arts et Métiers ParisTech (ENSAM) deploys applications new 3D platform EXPERIENCE.

2000 teachers and students now have CATIA, ENOVIA, DELMIA and SIMULIA.

«The School’s main mission is to train general-engineers in mechanical, industrial and energy engineering.” With eleven centers and institutes spread all over the French territory, the National School of Arts and Crafts has a unique network proximity with industry nationally and partnership with over 170 schools and foreign universities.

Our role is to prepare our students to the opportunities and challenges of economic and industrial world. For this, we offer them the tools and value-added curriculum for they play in their future professional life a fundamental role in the development of innovative solutions.

Laurent Carraro, Headmaster of Arts et Métiers ParisTech.

«Our school is fully committed to an ambitious innovation policy to train future engineers targeted technological themes and prepare the best interdisciplinary professional practice. We invite them to position itself as the next industrial reconquest of transformation vectors in an interconnected and globalized world».

The possibilities of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform

The inherently collaborative nature of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform enables the exchange, cooperation and synchronization between many educational activities in connection with other educational institutions in the world. This platform makes it possible to connect online mobile users to their courses, exercises and study projects.

According to Xavier Fouger, Director of Academic Programs of Dassault Systèmes, “economic, technical, environmental and social constraints needed to create products increasingly complex, but easier to use. Arts et Métiers ParisTech definitely meets this challenge for the 21st century engineers. This example of international quality will inspire all institutions looking to take a step ahead in the training of engineers building the knowledge economy.”

The ability to develop optimized systems combining many technical disciplines, particularly mechanics, electronics and computer science, is a decisive innovative factor.

Sharing of processes and knowledge synergy

«The V6 platform provides a design and simulation environment that integrates the digital representations of our training areas. The V6 PLM provides a platform for interdisciplinary education in which the sharing of processes and synergy of knowledge allows our design engineers students to complete their internal projects and graduation.

We have redesigned our teachings and developed new educational sequences to take advantage of the potential of the V6 platform in integrated and collaborative engineering products. Since September 2012, the V6 is adopted in almost all of our engineering education. We also plan to specialize at the highest level our engineers on this area and to offer a dedicated course soon,” says Philippe Véron, Head of Design Department Industrialization, Risk and Decision of Arts et Métiers ParisTech.

Keonys is the technological partner of Arts et Métiers ParisTech since ten years and has positioned itself as a key player in the preparation of the project, in the needs analysis, in the appropriate configuration of various applications and in the training of experts and teachers Arts et Métiers.
The adoption by the School of 3DEXPERIENCE platform is timely to provide students with an additional guarantee employability when major employers of engineers began their own migration and announced their need for specialists trained in strategic tools from the industrial processing
Bruno Puechoultres, Vice-President of Keonys.

The 3DEXPERIENCE platform by Dassault Systèmes is a growth driver that offers genuine career opportunities for young graduates who not only perfectly master the concepts of PLM but, in addition, will contribute to the Digital Innovation Company constantly changing.
