KEONYS and its client POLY-SHAPE detailed the uses and benefits of simulation tools dedicated to additive manufacturing at the last NAFEMS conference.

Which methodology was used to complete this industrial project?

What is the NAFEMS conference?

NAFEMS is the International Association for the Engineering Modelling, Analysis and Simulation Community.

This organization aims to help companies better assess the contribution of numerical simulation technologies for the development of innovative, high-performance and optimized products.

The June 2016 conference looked at the various areas of research related to Solid Mechanics  (FEA), Fluids Mechanics  (CFD) and Multiphysics Simulation, as well as associated technologies.

KEONYS’ involvement at NAFEMS.

It was natural for KEONYS, an expert in simulation solutions, to be involved alongside its client POLY-SHAPE.

Jérémy Leleu, simulation expert at KEONYS, presented the various simulation solutions dedicated to additive manufacturing, with the redesign of a bike handlebar stem using Dassault Systèmes software.

The aim is to show the entire numerical chain (simulation, optimization and reconstruction of the design) for the development of a part to be produced using additive manufacturing.
