The pollution from fine particle emissions from brakes is six times higher than the exhaust pipe emissions from a new vehicle

Christophe Rocca-Serra, President and founder of Tallano Technologie

A suction turbine for fine particle capture

Effective anti-pollution systems are central to environmental issues. Tamic® technology, developed by the French start-up TALLANO is the first of its kind in the world. With the installation of a small suction turbine, Tamic® (Turbine Aspirante MICroparticules, translated as Microparticle Suction Turbine) collects around 90% of fine particles emitted into the atmosphere by the brake system of all forms of transport.

Three expert partners

Tallano drew on the expertise and skills of Arts et Métiers ParisTech to develop and design its product. This initiative proves once again that technological innovation is closely linked to the synergy between business people and academic institutions. For its part, Keonys has been collaborating with the Tallano teams in the area of 3D simulation.
