CHALLENGES : The Arts et Métiers engineering institute wanted to network, from the Châlons-en-Champagne centre, the "Collaborative engineering" or "Collaborative product life cycle management" project in the 8 teaching centres in France. A challenge to allow student engineers to communicate better and to exchange information on the progress of their design projects.
SOLUTION : ENOVIA SmarTeam
BENEFITS : « Our generation has gone from solitary reflection to collective reflection mode. Industrial processes are increasingly complex in a highly competitive market environment. The "collaborative engineering" tool makes it possible to optimise the skills and talents of the entire ecosystem for the purposes of conducting innovative projects", Ammar Merah, 3rd year student and trainee at Arcelor-Mittal.
The "collaborative engineering" project is proving a great success with lecturers and students. The "business project" involves a team of two to eight students working between 80 and 100 hours on corporate case studies.
