ENOVIA V6 provides an easy-to-use environment for managing all of this information, presenting it to users in accordance with their roles, and ensuring it complies with the management rules chosen for use.
Data shared in this way can be consulted by any authorised user. Documents and other product specification data (Mechanical CAD, Calculation, Electronic CAD, test results, etc.) can be viewed, analysed and annotated by all project participants. Users are provided with many tools for discussion, expressing an opinion, recording a fault or making an official change request.
The ENOVIA V6 architecture is particularly well-suited for implementing a multi-site application that integrates with existing business information systems. This particularly applies to the ERP system, which manages processes complementary to PLM (production, supply, storage, dispatch, invoicing, etc.) The complementary relationship between these two systems requires excellent product information exchange.
For all PLM projects, assembling the existing data is a crucial factor. This information is often found in multiple locations and in different formats. Integrating it is particularly important, since this step is found on the critical path for the project deployment phase.
