CATIA Mechanical is a complete, collaborative and extremely flexible design environment.

It enables highly efficient 3D design of all types of part or assembly, from the simplest to the most advanced, thanks to concurrent engineering and relational design.

With V6, CATIA expands 3D design to user communities outside of the design office, by providing each profile with the right functionality, such as direct 3D modelling, geometrical surfaces handling, feature-based design and history-free functional modelling.

Parametric and variational module providing great part design flexibility. Its "functional modelling"-oriented approach for all business functions allows handling of the most complex geometrical cases.
