Training 
Our Workplace Learning Solutions (WLS) include desktop solutions (Electronic Performance Solutions or EPS) and distributed E-Learning solutions to provide clients with the most flexibility, so that they can mix the two types of solution as required.
The Companion: the e-learning training tool from Dassault Systèmes
The e-learning range enables any employee using Dassault Systèmes software tools to have private access to on-line courses. Access lasts for a month, during which there is no limit on connection time. On-line course content is drawn from the standard course catalogue, but specific course content can also be developed. Courses include theory and practice.
Web-based technology that is compatible with all browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) is used for course delivery, which enables users to continue their on-line training as and when they choose, without concern for scheduling constraints.
Ongoing training
Workplace Learning Solutions (WLS) provide just-in-time training and information on the user's own desktop, which reduces the need for trainer-led classroom courses. These solutions have also been designed to support traditional courses, providing an ongoing training tool that follows on from classroom courses when the user returns to everyday work. In addition, a web interface is used allowing delivery in an e-learning environment, which can provide companies with additional options when developing training strategies.
Easy to deploy
Combining Internet/Intranet standards with a client/server architecture, WLS are very easy to deploy and to administer within the business, and can also be installed locally.
From training modules ('skillets') to full training courses
All users, whether casual or expert, can benefit from WLS, whether for learning a new feature in 20 minutes with a module (a 'skillet', that is, an applet covering training for a single feature) or for training in an entirely new area with a traditional course-based approach. Basic and advanced courses are available for most products, as well as refresher courses and a database of exercises.
Open and adaptable to business needs
With the Companion development studio, companies can customise their solution or arrange for customisation by one of our partners. Features often requested include capturing of best practices and methodologies, or adding exercises tailored to the business context.

Each release has updated functionality, so courses are also updated so that you can learn about new features in Dassault Systèmes products.
